SUPERVISION
I am a qualified and experienced clinical supervisor and I offer both 1:1 supervision or group supervision to both trainee or qualified counsellors.
As a supervisor, my aim is to provide a safe, confidential space in which to offer you, as a supervisee, encouragement, constructive feedback and to challenge you. I place particular emphasis on issues arising through unconscious processes, namely transference and parallel process. My approach is integrative and I aim to meet supervisees in their own individual modality or modalities. I would be happy to discuss your needs on the phone, prior to us meeting, to ensure that my approach will benefit both you and your clients.
Group supervision provides an opportunity for exploration of the material presented using a participative approach where members are invited to share their thoughts, insights, feelings and impressions with each other. I will support the group in this with a view to discovering safe and productive ways in which to move forward.
My rate for clinical supervision is £40. I can offer a concessionary rate of £30 for students. Group rates will have to be discussed on the phone as they will vary depending on group numbers. A group will consist of no more than 4 members.
